Clarice was born in November 1966 at Alice Springs and is from the Pintubi Luritja language group having painted many years for the Watiyawanu Community Art Centre.
Clarice uses a unique intricate range of tooth pick size dots for her Tali (sand hills) artwork which is depicting the harsh desert land near the country where Clarice's grandfather, Shorty Lungkata was born. The heavier lines depict the sand forced together by the wind creating ripples in the sand. The valleys are also used by women to perform their sacred womens ceremonies.
