ANTHONY WALKER

Anthony J. Walker is an award-winning artist from the Yiman, Gangalu and Gurreng Gurreng peoples of Central Queensland. Currently residing in Byron Bay, Anthony draws inspiration from the coastlines of Southern Queensland and Northern New South Wales, as well as stories from his grandparents Country.

Anthony’s achievements include: participating in Wesfarmers Indigenous Arts Leadership Program at the National Gallery of Australia, winning the Gold Coast Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Award, and founding the design studio Milbi Designs.
