In this painting Yilpi has depicted the area of her birthplace. There are various ceremonial sites and fires that have been lit with the people represented by the U shapes. It is as these campsites that dreamtime stories are told and ceremonies conducted. The different colours represent the land and the various rockholes and sandhills found throughout the desert.
