Robin Granites Japanangka born 1953  is an important Aboriginal artist. Robin Granites has exhibited since the 70’s, from the start of the Aboriginal art movement. Robin Granites work is included in many private and corporate collections in Australia and around the world including National Gallery of Victoria, Art Gallery of New South Wales, Museum & Art Gallery Northern Territory, Art Gallery of Western Australia, Art Gallery of South Australia, Homes a Court Gallery and gallery Collection, Art Bank (Sydney) and many Australian Regional Galleries.

This painting illustrates a topography view, depicting the movement of sand dunes which constantly change the desert landscape in the artist’s birthplace.
