ABOUT MARCOS FERRAZZA

Marcos Ferrazza is a talented new didgeridoo maker who has been learning his craft under the careful guidance of master didgeridoo maker Adam "CrookedStixz" Henwood.

Several years ago we had a chance encounter with this young likeable character in an Aboriginal art gallery near Darwin. Marcos was keen to learn how to play the didgeridoo and needed help choosing an instrument.

The Spirit Gallery team was up in the top end on a didgeridoo buying trip and were happy to give him a hand with some expert advice. We made sure Marcos purchased the best instrument in the place, had a quick chat and said our goodbyes expecting more than likely never to see him again.  Well it looks like we were wrong!!

Marcos quickly became proficient at playing the didgeridoo and developed a love for the instrument, deciding he would try his hand at perhaps crafting his own didgeridoos one day.

Lucky for Marcos as he travelled around Australia he came across Adam from CrookedStixz Didgeridoos who took him under his wing and taught him how to craft a quality didgeridoo. In a short space of only a few years of working with Adam Marcos has excelled at his new passion and has proven to be a naturally gifted didgeridoo maker.

Marcos regularly travels between Australia and his native home of Argentina and has aspirations to become a full time didgeridoo maker one day.

As Adam says of his didgeridoo apprentice  "he is the gun" and that is what we are now calling him.

Spirit gallery is proud to be the first to showcase Marcos' didgeridoos to the world.
